Please note that the ski area is now the backcountry. Natural and man-made hazards exist and are unmarked and unprotected. There is no snow safety - the snow is uncontrolled. Ensure you check the Avalanche Advisory (https://www.avalanche.net.nz/region/10) for the latest conditions, and that you are prepared for safe backcountry travel. There is no Ski Patrol or Roads Crew and no rescue or support services on the ski area or the road - in case of emergency dial 111. Enjoy, and be safe out there.
